Blue foot

This species grows between September and December – and even in January if it isn’t too cold – in small groups and in circles (known as “fairy rings”) on rich soil (compost and dense forest humus) in the northern temperate zone. It is found under both deciduous trees and conifers. It is highly edible and can be eaten fresh in dishes using vinegar.

    How to prepare mushrooms

If they are whole, brush the mushrooms before cooking them. If they are sliced and “ready-to-use”, they just need to be cooked.

    How to store mushrooms.

Our mushrooms are sold in film-covered punnets allowing the product to breathe.

We advise you to keep this film on the punnet to prevent the mushrooms from drying out and losing weight during storage. Keep them in the bottom of the fridge at an ideal temperature of 2 to 4°C, for a maximum of 3 days.
